Each Demon X-Treme Heavy Duty Long Travel Axle is engineered to match the increased axle length and operating angles required by compatible long-travel suspension systems. Demon XHD Long Travel Axles are constructed using high-strength 4340 chromoly steel throughout the axle assembly, including the shaft, CV housings, cages, races, and internal components. Larger CV joints and axle shafts are combined with our proprietary dual heat-treatment process to provide exceptional strength and durability under severe loads.

The internal CV components are micro-polished to help reduce friction and operating temperatures, while high-quality molybdenum grease provides smooth and consistent lubrication during demanding use. Our re-engineered CV cage design further enhances durability under aggressive suspension movement, hard impacts, oversized tires, and increased horsepower.
