Demon X-Treme Heavy Duty Race Spec Radius Rods are engineered as a high-performance suspension upgrade for your Polaris RZR Turbo, delivering increased strength, durability, and ground clearance for aggressive off-road and racing applications.
The high-clearance design provides additional space beneath the suspension components, helping reduce contact with rocks, ruts, and other obstacles when navigating uneven terrain. This makes the Race Spec Radius Rods well suited for demanding trail conditions, desert riding, rock terrain, and competitive use.
Each radius rod is CNC machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 billet aluminum, a high-strength material known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and fatigue resistance. This construction provides the structural strength required to handle heavy suspension loads while maintaining a lightweight design.
Heavy-duty chromoly steel heim joints and spherical bearings are chrome and zinc plated to provide additional strength and corrosion resistance under harsh off-road conditions. PTFE-lined joints and bearings provide a self-lubricating design that helps reduce maintenance while supporting smooth suspension movement and long-lasting performance.

MATERIAL STRENGTH
Demon X-Treme Heavy Duty radius rods are made from 7075 aluminum, which is over 70% stronger than the tie rods of same size that are made of 6061, a commonly used material by our competitors. During our bend tests, our fully assembled radius rod can withstand over 2,200 lbs load right in the middle, and bounce back to it's original shape like nothing happened. It means you don't have to worry about bending, denting the rods or damaging the threads like you would with 6061 aluminum. 7075 aluminum excels where 6061 would fail.
SPHERICAL BEARINGS
Our spherical bearings are built with a high-durability 3-piece assembly design, delivering maximum strength and reliability. The race is crafted from heat-treated high-strength alloy steel, while the inner ball is precision-made from hard chrome-plated 52100 steel for superior wear resistance. Featuring a maintenance-free PTFE insert, these bearings provide smooth, self-lubricating performance without the need for additional lubrication. With an impressive radial static load rating of 48,000 lbs, they are engineered to handle extreme demands with unmatched durability.
HEIM JOINT
This heim joint is built with a high-durability 3-piece assembly design for superior strength and reliability. The joint body is crafted from 4135 Chromoly Alloy Steel, while the inner ball is made from hardened bearing steel, polished, and hard chrome plated for maximum wear resistance. Featuring a maintenance-free PTFE insert, it delivers smooth, self-lubricating performance without the need for regular servicing. With a radial static load rating of 17,990 lbs, this joint is designed to withstand extreme demands. The inboard heim is also precision-engineered to fit seamlessly onto the OE pitman arm, ensuring a perfect fit and dependable function.
