Demon X-Treme Heavy Duty Long Travel Race Spec Axles combine our Race Spec axle technology with a purpose-built long-travel design for Polaris RZR RS1 equipped with 3.5 inch HCR. Engineered for extended-width suspension systems, increased suspension travel, high-horsepower builds, oversized tires, and competitive off-road use, these axles are built for demanding applications where strength and suspension performance are critical.
Each axle is specifically engineered to match the increased axle length, suspension movement, and operating angles required by 3.5 inch HCR. This purpose-built geometry helps your Polaris RZR RS1 maintain proper axle operation throughout the increased suspension travel of a compatible long-travel system.
At the heart of the Race Spec design is a high-strength 300M steel axle shaft. 300M is a high-performance alloy based on 4340 chromoly steel with additional alloying elements, including increased silicon and vanadium. This combination provides exceptional strength and toughness while allowing the axle shaft to flex and absorb severe shock loads encountered during aggressive riding and racing.
The 300M shaft is paired with our heavy-duty XHD CV joints and internal components engineered for extreme off-road use. Micro-polished internal CV surfaces help reduce friction and operating temperatures, while high-quality molybdenum grease provides smooth and consistent lubrication under demanding conditions.
Our heavy-duty CV cage and internal design are built to withstand aggressive suspension movement, hard impacts, oversized tires, increased horsepower, and the additional loads created by long-travel suspension systems.

The Demon Axle features a dual plunge design that allows extra suspension travel while preventing binding, delivering smooth performance across challenging terrains. With an impressive articulation angle of up to 47°, it ensures maximum flexibility and control. The stock-length axles are compatible with most bracket lift kits up to 3 inches and any portal lift setup, offering wide customization options. Engineered to be up to 40% stronger than standard 4340 XHD axles, these axles boast a maximum breaking torque of 6,400Nm for unmatched durability. They are also available for popular long-travel kits, with customized axle options available upon inquiry.
CV JOINT
The forged CV joints are fully constructed from 4340 Chromoly steel, including the race and cage, ensuring exceptional strength and durability. Each internal component is specially engineered to enhance structural integrity while reducing heat generation during high-performance use. The inner cavity is micro-polished to maintain tight tolerance control and minimize friction-related heat buildup. A specialized surface finish further accelerates heat dissipation, keeping the joint cool under pressure. Packed with premium lithium-based grease, these CV joints deliver peak reliability, smooth operation, and long-lasting performance.
SHAFT
Crafted from aircraft-grade 300M steel, this axle is built for exceptional strength and durability. It undergoes a specialized heat treatment process specifically designed for 300M material to ensure maximum performance under extreme conditions. The straight shaft design is precisely engineered to maximize size and strength while eliminating stress concentrations for superior reliability. Its polished, chrome-plated surface not only removes stress risers but also adds an extra layer of protection to the center shaft, delivering both durability and a sleek, high-performance appearance.
