Can-Am Defender HD8 Demon Heavy Duty Long Travel Axle

Demon Heavy Duty Lift Kit Axles are engineered for lifted Can-Am Defender HD8 applications equipped with 6 inch SUPER ATV Lift Kit or Moorhead Big Lift Kit or PCF Lift Kit, providing the additional strength, durability, and articulation needed for modified suspension setups and demanding off-road use.

Each axle is designed to accommodate the increased axle length and operating angles created by 6 inch SUPER ATV Lift Kit or Moorhead Big Lift Kit or PCF Lift Kit, helping maintain proper axle geometry and suspension movement throughout the travel range of your Can-Am Defender HD8.

Developed through years of research and testing, Demon Heavy Duty Lift Kit Axles feature larger CV joints and axle shafts combined with our proprietary dual heat-treatment process. The inner CV cage is manufactured from high-strength 4340 chromoly steel, helping provide the durability required to handle increased suspension angles, larger tires, and the additional loads commonly associated with lifted machines.

Our Heavy Duty Lift Kit Axles also feature a unique double-offset design that allows the axle to move along the CV joint as the suspension cycles. Depending on the application, the inboard CV joint can provide approximately 1.5 inches of plunge travel and up to 40° of articulation, and the outboard joint can achieve approximately 45°–47° of articulation.

Each axle is equipped with durable TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer) CV boots designed to provide improved resistance to punctures, fatigue, and extreme temperatures compared with conventional rubber-style boots. High-quality molybdenum grease is used inside the CV joints to help reduce friction and maintain smooth operation under demanding conditions.

Built specifically for lifted applications, Demon Heavy Duty Lift Kit Axles give your Can-Am Defender HD8 equipped with 6 inch SUPER ATV Lift Kit or Moorhead Big Lift Kit or PCF Lift Kit the strength, flexibility, and durability needed to handle modified suspension geometry and challenging terrain.
